About Our Founder
Mirabel Anderson is a 16-year-old who spent two years navigating serious medical challenges, endless tests, and multiple medications before finally receiving the right diagnosis and undergoing brain surgery. During her hospitalization, when things were the hardest, hugging her weighted stuffed animal provided comfort when there wasn’t much else. That experience inspired her to create Zablefy, so other hospitalized kids and teens can feel supported, cared for, and reminded that they are not alone.
